- It is a device that tests the velocity of air flowing through the specimen vertically under the conditions of specified pressure and time. The air permeability of a fabric is the volume of air (㎠) that passes through a fabric 1㎠ for 1 second at a water pressure of 1cm. The property of air passing through the cloth is called breathability.Measurement methods include the Gurley method, which measures air resistance, the Densimeter method, and the Frazier method, which measures air permeability.
