- Natural Salt Spray Test
- As compressed air of salt water passes through the Bubble Tower, it is heated at a certain range of temperature in an endothermic state. This compressed air forms a fog as the corrosive liquid discharged from the embedded tank combines with it, causing corrosion to the sample.
- Applicable range of temperature: Normal temperature of 35oC (designed for cycling tests)
- Humiditiy
- As water penetrates through a cracked surface because of the osmotic pressure, the electrolytic solution accelerates the corrosion process (Ambient Temp : +10oC to +50oC, Humidity (at 50oC) :
- 60–95% (±5% RH)). The high-temp steam discharged from the steam generator maintains the inside of the chamber humid and causes corrosion to the sample.
- (Spray stop upon reaching the set humidity level → Maintain the humidity level → Spraying again if it fails to reach the set humidity level)
- Dryness
- Corrosion accelerates chemical reactions in a dry condition. The reaction rate is varied depending on the temperature. As the temperature is high, the corrosion rate is high accordingly.
- The humidity inside is discharged rapidly through the internal blower so that the inside of the chamber and the sample are dried quickly (Ambient Temp : +10oC to +60oC ±1oC)
- Air intake
- Inside the airtight tester, the temperature is kept within the set range so that it can simulate the condition of the ordinary atmosphere where a no fog spray or humidifying function is initiated.
